Launched on April 14, 2020, #BERJARAK movement provides assistance for Covid-19 prevention up to the villages, targets of KESEMPATAN Project, in East Java and West Nusa Tenggara. The main activities of this movement include the dissemination of information package and education on Covid-19 through social media, in this case PAACLA Indonesia's FB and IG and through media campaigns in the form of billboards, posters and stickers.
#BERJARAK movement also provides personal protective equipment such as cloth masks, hazmat clothes, boots, gloves, helmets, face shields as well as sprayers and disinfectant fluids, washtafel for washing hands in community centers and public facilities. Every week, #BERJARAK movement organizes a consultation clinic discussing topic related to children and families in the face of COVID-19 pandemic.
In collaboration with LPKP in East Java and SANTAI Foundation in West Nusa Tenggara and regional facilitators, JARAK has distributed all of the above assistances directly to village government and community members. All parties have worked hard to quickly tranfer the information on measures against Covid-19 in the 12 target villages currently targted by KESEMPATAN Project.
